The 4th International Conference on High Voltage Engineering and Power Systems 2023 (ICHVEPS 2023) is the fourth biannual conference organized by the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia, as an international forum for exchange of ideas, discussion and dissemination of the research results and technologies in the field of High Voltage Engineering and Power Systems. This conference is suitable to be attended by university professors and lecturers, post-graduate, graduate and under-graduate students, power utilities engineers, researchers from industries and research institutes, and professionals in the field of electrical power engineering, especially related to high voltage engineering and power system.
Except for the 3rd one, ICHVEPS have always been held as in-person conference, where both the 1st and the 2nd ICHVEPS in 2017 and 2019 took place in Sanur, Bali, Indonesia. In 2020, pandemic happened, however it did not discourage us from organizing and holding the 3rd ICHVEPS, which was held as virtual conference in October 2021. At each of the previous conference, about 120 papers from more than 15 countries were presented and published in IEEE Xplore.
As Indonesia is now recovering from pandemic, and COVID-19 situations are under controlled, ICHVEPS 2023 will be held in person in Prama Sanur Beach Bali Hotel, Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia on August 6-10, 2023.
ICHVEPS 2023 is sponsored by IEEE Indonesia Section, IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES) Indonesia Chapter and IEEE ITB Student Branch. In order to increase the engagement of Indonesian students with IEEE, a number of students, especially IEEE ITB Student Branch staff will be promoted to become IEEE members in this conference.
